Description:
The pAcIRES vector contains an insect internal ribosome entry site
(IRES) from cricket paralysis virus (CrPV), which allows efficient
translation of two genes from a single message driven by the polyhedrin
promoter. By including a selection marker or reporter gene in the
expression cassette you can save time and eliminate clonal selection
because virtually all transfected cells expressing the selection marker
also express your gene of interest.
