Interferon gamma (IFN g)

 

 

l        Description

Recombinant Human Interferon gamma-1b is a sterile protein product for injection. rHuIFN g is produced by recombinant DNA technology by E.coli carrying a genetically engineered plasmid containing human interferon gamma gene. It is a highly purified protein containing 140 amino acids, and has a molecular weight of approximately16.5kD.

 

l        Indication

1.      Indicated for reducing the frequency and severity of serious infections associated with Chronic Granulomatous Disease.

2.      Indicated for delaying time to disease progression in patients with severe, malignant osteopetrosis.

Sterile, clear, colorless and preservative-free liquid for injection in vials.

Dosage: 1 million IU (0.5ml)/vial

Specific activity: 2.0×10⁷ IU/mg
