Toxicity
SURE FECTOR
Cat.: No. EM-101-001, Unit Size: 1mL
Cat. No.: EM-101-003s, Unit Size: Trial Size Set (0.2mL each)
SureFECTOR is a liposomal formulation of a
polycationic lipid and a neutral, non-transfecting lipid compound.
SureFECTOR has been used successfully to transfect DNA into HepG2, COS,
PC12, NIH/3T3, Jurkat, primary rat and hamster hepatocytes, primary rat
cardiomyocytes, primary male rat germ cells, primary chick retinal neurons,
primary rat fibroblasts, primary quail myoblasts, primary human
keratinocytes, and tracheobronchial cells. Peak activities were achieved
using 1-4 mg SureFECTOR per mg DNA on the tested cell lines grown in 35 mm
dishes. Therefore, 1 milliliter of SureFECTOR is sufficient for 250-1000
transfection. No significant toxicity was observed at the concentrations
used for optimal activity on the cell lines tested. SureFECTOR is provided
as a sterile suspension in water at a concentration of 1 mg/ml.
UniFECTOR
Cat. No.: EM-101-002, Unit Size: 1mL
Cat. No.: EM-101-003s, Unit Size: Trial Size Set (0.2mL each)
UniFECTOR is a liposomal formulation of a
polycationic lipid and a neutral, non-transfecting lipid compound. UniFECTOR
has been used successfully to transfect DNA or RNA into CHO-K1, COS,
NIH/3T3, LNCaP, T-24, HEK/293, C2C12, Schneider (Drosophila), SF-9, human
bone marrow endothelial cells (HBMEC), primary rat aortic smooth muscle,
primary rabbit myoblasts, and primary human keratinocytes. Peak activities
were achieved using 2-6 mg UniFECTOR per mg DNA on the tested cell lines
grown in 35 mm dishes. Therefore, 1 milliliter of UniFECTOR is sufficient
for 160-500 transfections. No significant toxicity was observed at the
concentrations used for optimal activity on the cell lines tested. UniFECTOR
is provided as a sterile suspension in water at a concentration of 1 mg/ml.
Transfection Reagent for siRNA
SiFECTOR
Cat. No.: EM-101-004, Unit Size: Trial Size 0.2mL
Cat. No.: EM-101-005, Unit Size: 1mL
siFECTOR is a liposomal formulation of a
polycationic lipid and a neutral, non-transfecting lipid compound. SiFECTOR
has been used successfully to transfect siRNA into CHO-K1, COS, NIH3T3,
LNCaP, T-24, 293, C2C12, Schneider (Drosophila), SF-9, human bone marrow
endothelial cells (HBMEC), primary rat aortic smooth muscle, primary rabbit
myoblasts, and primary human keratinocytes. Peak activities were achieved
using 2-6 mg siFECTOR per mg siRNA on the tested cell lines grown in 35 mm
dishes. Therefore, 1 mL of siFECTOR is sufficient for 160-500 transfections.
No significant toxicity was observed at the concentrations used for optimal
activity on the cell lines tested. siFECTOR is provided as a sterile
suspension in water at a concentration of 1 mg/ml.
