Clone: JC/70A The Signet CD31 (JC/70A) antibody
recognizes a 110kD glycoprotein in endothelial cells and a 130 kD
antigen in platelets. Clone JC/70A reacts with endothelial cells in
normal and neoplastic tissues. In frozen sections and blood smears the
CD31 antibody also reacts with megakaryocytes, platelets and
occasionally plasma cells. The CD31 antibody shows a weak reaction
against mantle zone B cells, peripheral T cells and neutrophils. CD31
antibody staining has also being used to measure the degree of
angiogenesis development. |
