Avian influenza (H5N1) ELISA kit
Brief
Avian influenza is an infectious disease of birds caused by type A strains of
the influenza virus.
H5N1 is a type of avian influenza virus (bird flu virus) that has mutated
through antigenic drift into dozens of highly pathogenic varieties, but all
currently belonging to genotype Z of avian influenza virus H5N1. Genotype Z
emerged through reassortment in 2002 from earlier highly pathogenic genotypes of
H5N1 that first appeared in China in
Avian Flu viruses H5N1 subtype Antibody ELISA kit is
composed of the antigen coated microplate, enzyme conjugate (HRP
goat-anti-chicken IgG), and other reagents. It applies the indirect ELISA
principle to test the antibodies of Avian Flu viruses H5N1 subtype in the serum.
The test kit is the antigen coated microplate made from the inactivated, purified and concentrated recombinant protein. In the test, the diluted control serum and sample are added, then incubate. If the sample exists Avian Flu viruses H5N1 sub-type antibodies, they will be bound with the antigens of the microplate, the unbound antibodies and other components are removed by washing. Next, add enzyme conjugate (anti-chicken IgG-HRP) to specifically bind to the compound of antibody-antigens of the microplate, the unbound enzyme conjugate will be removed by washing, add the TMB substrate into the wells, react and generate a blue color. At last, end the reaction by adding stop solution,read the absorbance value at 450/630nm.
