Apolipoprotein-E (ApoE), TCS Clone: D6E10 Increased levels of Apolipoprotein E have
been shown to correlate with enhanced risk for the development of
Alzheimer’s disease. Mutations in the APP gene in conjunction with the
influence of Apo-E appear to influence amyloid metabolism. Signet clone
D6E10 reacts to the E2, E3, and E4 isoforms of Apolipoprotein E. Western
blot analysis using clone D6E10 can identify Apo-E4. |
