Oncoprotein Clone: 124 This monoclonal antibody recognizes the
bcl-2 oncoprotein, a 26 kD membrane protein found near the nuclear
envelope, endoplasmic reticulum and inner mitochondrial membrane which
has been associated with the negative regulation of apoptosis, a common
form of cell death in multicellular organisms. In normal tissue,
staining of T cells, mantle zones and red pulp of spleen is observed.
